Solar energy tech company mPower Technology Inc. is set to rapidly scale its manufacturing capacity following the closure of its latest eight-figure funding round. mPower announced last month that it secured more than $21 million in Series B funding, led by Virginia-based firm Razor’s Edge Ventures.
The funding will primarily be used to stand up the company’s first high-volume manufacturing line, housed at contract manufacturing partner Universal Instruments Corporation in Conklin, New York, which will have the capacity to produce upwards of 2 megawatts per year of mPower’s DragonSCALES solar modules.
